German Owl: The Germans hint bred a number of sub varieties of Owls, all with neck frills.

These varieties are:

German Single-Colored Owl: This Owl is bred in sells in white, blue, silver, black, dun, red, yellow, and in blue checkered, blue barred and silver barred.

German Shield Owl: The plumage of this Owl is all white save the wing shield or saddle, which is colored, Its colors are: blue and silver blue with black bars; black; dun; red; yellow lark and mealy.

German Colored Tail Owl: This Owl is tail-marked. The plumage is all white save the tail feathers. It is bread with black, blue, red, and yellow tails. It is plain-headed.

Hamburg Sticken: This variety is shell-crested with a good rosette on each side of the head. The body plumage is colored—the tail is white. Body colors are: black, red and yellow; dark or light blue with black bars; silver, blue and red checkered and other colors.

                              

Seven steps must follows for Pigeon growing: The requirements for pigeon breeding are simple, but they must be followed to be successful. There should be no relaxing or neglect at any time, for it is much easier to prevent trouble than to eliminate disease, parasites or vermin once these have occurred.

1. A dry house with the inside protected from rain or snow.
2. Separate houses for mated pairs and odd birds.
3. A flypen, if the breed requires one that dries out easily.
4. A suitable feed ration protected from contamination.
5. A suitable mineral ration protected from contamination.
6. Water suitable for human consumption protected from contamination.
7. Suitable nesting materials.

If any one of the seven is neglected, trouble of some sort will eventually occur.
